Boiler not heating the water. 281077

I have the red light every three seconds and the green flashing light and so have ordered a new thermostat. 
It appears that the water is not heating at all now though the lights are still the same. Will replacing the thermostat solve this or is there a further problem? It will be cheaper to buy a new boiler if the new thermostat does not solve this issue. 

Also, can you please tell me when the warranty ends?

  Hello,

  You have a probe problem. If you change the thermostat assembly the problem will be solved. The warranty for your water heater ended in 2018.
